Morecambe Live

Hi Readers Today was that second day of the Morecambe Live Event, although the weather was overcast the event received tremendous local support. Despite Coronation Street David Platt  being unable to attend Michael Le Veil alias Kevin Webster was a overwhelming success. We were treated to a wonderful Modern Dance routine from Heysham High School and Live Entertaining Music. Good Night Readers Where Ever You Are!!!!!!

Asda

Hello Readers, Today I went to Asda to buy a 32inch HD Television. In the afternoon I went to Morrisons  laden with shopping I looked in on the Events of the," Morecambe Live Weekend." Where Heysham High gave a exciting performance which received tremendous local support. However, it is so sad that such a performance was conducted in a venue that clearly needs more Restoration.Surely the Council could have delayed closing the Dome Theatre till the works within the Winter Gardens had been completed.. As a Business owner within the Town I feel we need more quality venues rather than closing proven venues such as the Dome.

Cumbria

Today the 2nd June 2010 was a black day for the county of Cumbria with the death of innocent victims at the hands of a lone gunman.In Morecambe it,s unfortunate that the town has lost its key bathing status., hopefully this will not deter the tourists from visiting the Town. Additionally its interesting about strengthening Morecambe FC with new signings.

The Weekend of the 5&6 June sees devious David from Coronation Street Visit trendy Morecambe as part of the Morecambe Live Weekend. Additionally the group Liberty X will also becoming to visit as part of the weekends events.

The Sunday Market in Morecambe

Hello Readers, After venturing away from the shores of Morecambe I have just returned  from a week of Sun in the South West of England visiting family and friends. On my return i was bemused at the infringement of Car Boots stalls upon the Sunday Market, Questions sprang to mind as people regularly travel a long way to visit the Markets would they be so inclined for a Car Boot sale.Surely it would benefit both traders and visitors to the town  if the Market and Car Boot Sale could be on separate days thus catering for all taste
